Liquid Biopsy & Translational Clinical Genomics

Circulating tumour DNA and serial monitoring — what blood can tell us that a biopsy often cannot.

Running from launch

What this centre does

Blood can tell us what a biopsy often cannot — repeatedly, non-invasively, and over time. This centre works on circulating tumour DNA and other blood-based markers for early detection, minimal residual disease, treatment monitoring and resistance.

Assays & monitoring via OnKommon

Methods

ctDNA analysis and variant-allele-fraction dynamics; MRD statistical calling; clonal-haematopoiesis discrimination; longitudinal trend modelling; clinical-utility study design.

Data inputs

Serial ctDNA draws and MRD assays (via OnKommon); matched clinical outcomes; imaging response.

Outputs

Clinical-utility evidence in Indian cohorts; monitoring protocols; publications.

Funding route

Translational grants; industry collaboration on monitoring assays.

What has to be true first

Nothing new — only disciplined data capture from services already running. The cheapest credible research start the institution has.
