Computational Immunology & Precision Immunotherapy

Modelling immune repertoires and immune-related markers to predict who benefits from immunotherapy.

What this centre does

Immunotherapy transforms outcomes for some patients and does nothing for others. This centre models the immune system computationally — immune repertoires, neoantigens, immune evasion and the tumour microenvironment — to build better predictors of who will benefit.

Methods

Neoantigen prediction and prioritisation; HLA typing and loss analysis; immune repertoire analysis; deconvolution of immune composition from bulk data; response-prediction modelling.

Data inputs

Tumour profiles including TMB, MSI and MMR status (via OnKommon); immune-related markers; treatment and response data.

Outputs

Response-prediction models; neoantigen pipelines; publications.

Funding route

Immuno-oncology grant calls; pharma collaboration on response biomarkers.

What has to be true first

Matched treatment and response data at sufficient volume to train and validate predictors.
