In-Silico Clinical Trials & Real-World Evidence
In-silico trial methods and evidence from Indian practice, as a governed consumer of the data platform.
What this centre does
Not every question can or should be answered by a conventional trial. This centre develops in-silico trial methods — virtual cohorts, simulated design and feasibility modelling — and produces real-world evidence from Indian practice.
Data platform via OnKommon
Methods
Virtual cohort construction; trial simulation and feasibility modelling; causal inference on observational data; outcomes and health-services research methods.
Data inputs
The governed data layer (platform via OnKommon); clinical outcomes; published trial data.
Outputs
Feasibility and design studies; real-world evidence publications; methods that reduce the cost of asking a clinical question.
Funding route
Health-technology assessment and RWE grants; pharma collaboration on feasibility work.
What has to be true first
Governed data access, approved case by case by the data-access committee.
