For oncologists and referring doctors

Your clinical question. A structured review pathway.

KPCIRC supports clinicians through molecular report interpretation, Molecular Tumour Board review, second opinions, progression review and complementary oncology services. The intention is to support your practice, not to displace your relationship with the patient.

How to refer a case

  1. Define the question

Identify the main clinical question and the review pathway you want.

  2. Gather records

Diagnosis, history, pathology, molecular reports, imaging summary and treatment history.

  3. Submit the enquiry

Use the approved case pathway. Never send identifiable records to a general email address.

  4. Suitability check

KPCIRC checks completeness and suitability; further information or a different pathway may be suggested.

  5. Scope confirmed

Scope, requirements, estimated timing, fees and deliverables are confirmed before the review proceeds.

  6. Secure output

The output is shared with the intended recipient through the agreed secure workflow.

Our collaboration principles

The treating doctor remains central

KPCIRC works within an agreed scope and does not assume long-term management unless a separate arrangement establishes it.

Evidence limitations stay visible

Reports distinguish established findings, potential associations, unresolved questions and missing information.

Responsibilities are defined

Arrangements identify who assesses, reviews, signs, communicates and follows up.

Privacy is built in

Use the designated submission process and share only what the requested service needs.

Information for laboratories

Molecular laboratories can discuss interpretation pathways, reporting questions, clinical-review arrangements and collaboration requirements. The scope identifies what the laboratory provides, what KPCIRC reviews, who communicates with the treating clinician and how patient information is handled.
