Fees, Refunds & Cancellation

The free call is free

The fifteen minute orientation call carries no fee and no obligation. Nothing is charged before you have been told, in writing, what a service costs.

Consultations

Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours ahead and any fee paid is carried to the new appointment or refunded in full. Inside 24 hours the fee is carried once; a second late cancellation is charged.

If we cancel or a clinician is unavailable, you choose between a new slot and a full refund.

Written opinions

The fee covers the review and the written opinion. If we conclude before starting that an opinion will not help you, we say so and refund in full.

Once the review has begun the fee is not refundable, because the work is the clinician's time. If the opinion is delayed beyond the stated turnaround for a reason of ours, the expedited premium is refunded.

What we cannot refund

Assays, imaging, procedures, admissions and medicines are billed by the provider that performs them, under that provider's own terms. We will help you raise a claim with them, but we cannot refund money we never received.

Memberships

Cancel within 14 days of joining, before any included service is used, for a full refund. After that a membership runs to the end of its term; unused included services do not carry forward.

Membership is a service subscription. It is not insurance and it does not reimburse treatment costs.

How a refund reaches you

To the account the payment came from, within 7 to 10 working days of approval. We do not refund to a different account.
